Art and painting have always held a great fascination for me. When I started painting, later than most artists, it was something I had thought about for a long time and, finally was able to make happen. It is very exciting to take a large piece of white paper and blend colors, hues, and tones into shapes and believable or abstracted designs and images.

During the process of painting a picture, my only thoughts are on what is taking place thereon. No other thoughts but what is happening can enter my thinking. It is a time that is all to and in itself. Painting is a special and unique pleasure.
